How to Print Recipe Cards in Microsoft Word (No Scaling)
If you are printing recipe cards using Microsoft Word, it is very important to set your print settings correctly.
Always choose NO SCALING. This ensures your recipe cards print at the exact correct size, especially when using perforated Avery paper.
Microsoft Word 2000–2009
Step 1. Click the File tab and select Print.
If you do not see the File tab, click the Office button and then select Print.
Step 2. Locate Scale to Paper Size.
Make sure it is set to NO SCALING.
This is very important. It ensures your recipe cards print at the correct size.

Microsoft Word 2010–2019
Scale to Paper Size is slightly hidden in newer versions, but it is still available.
Step 1. Click the File tab and select Print.
A print window will open.
Step 2. Under Settings, select the 1 Page per Sheet drop-down menu.

Select NO SCALING, then click Print.
