Printing larger stationery, 3x5 recipe cards, scrapbook layouts, labels...

Most printers leave an unprinted margin (border). This is so the insides of the printer won't get gunked up with ink.

If your printouts are getting "cut off", decrease the print margins to the minimum to get more print space.

  1. Go to File Menu and highlight Page Setup.

  2. A "Page Setup" box shouold pop up. It may look like this:

  3. Delete everything from the Header and Footer entry fields.

If you're printing larger stationery, scrapbook pages and labels:
set all margins to either 0.75" or 0.25" or any minimum that your printer allows.

Some printers are not capable of 0.25" margins. In that case, the minimum allowable margin will be automatically set by your printer driver.

IMPORTANT Please write down the size that was set by default before changing the margin. Unless you do this, you won't be able to restore your default settings.

    Now Do a Print Preview

  4. Under the File Menu highlight Print Preview

  5. A "Print Preview" box should pop up. It may look like this:

If it looks the way you want it to, start printing, just click the "Print" button.

If you use AOL web browser, you may not have the Print Preview available. Open my site in Internet Explorer and you'll be able to Print Preview. Click here to learn how.
