Microsoft® Picture It!® How to's and help
Microsoft "Picture It" is perfect for adding text and printing because
images can be resized without distortion and still print out great.
- On the File menu, click New.
- Select Page Layout.

- You will see an option for Portrait or Landscape, select either one.
- Select page size (11" x 8.5")
- Next check the "Maintain proportions".
- Select Resolution. (300)
Choose Pixels per inch from the drop down menu above "Units".
Anything under 150 pixles is very small, 300 pixles is a nice size,
and over 300 is way big.
- Click Done.

INSERT PRINTABLES
- On the Insert menu, click Picture and select From my computer.

Insert a graphic (navigate to the folder named large and insert a "blank" graphic).
INSERT TEXT
- On the Text menu, click Insert Text.
Place the mouse pointer over the yellow handle and drag the text box to where you want to add text.
- On the File menu, select Print.
- Choose your print settings in the left pane.

- Select Portrait or Landscape orientation.
- Select Exact size.
(Size should be set to inches (IN)
- UNCHECK "Fit within area" and click Print.
