Microsoft® Picture It!® How to's and help
Microsoft "Picture It" is perfect for adding text and printing because images can be resized without distortion and still print out great.

  1. On the File menu, click New.


  2. Select Page Layout.
    1. You will see an option for Portrait or Landscape, select either one.


    2. Select page size (11" x 8.5")


    3. Next check the "Maintain proportions".


    4. Select Resolution. (300)
      Choose Pixels per inch from the drop down menu above "Units". Anything under 150 pixles is very small, 300 pixles is a nice size, and over 300 is way big.


    5. Click Done.


    INSERT PRINTABLES
  3. On the Insert menu, click Picture and select From my computer.


  4. Insert a graphic (navigate to the folder named large and insert a "blank" graphic).

  5. On the Text menu, click Insert Text.


  6. Place the mouse pointer over the yellow handle and drag the text box to where you want to add text.


  7. On the File menu, select Print.


  8. Choose your print settings in the left pane.

    1. Select Portrait or Landscape orientation.


    2. Select Exact size.
      (Size should be set to inches (IN)


    3. UNCHECK "Fit within area" and click Print.
